Home Page Welcome to the new official “Terra Ceia Manor Homeowners’ Association” website. To our friends and neighbors, a resounding hooowdy! To all of you visitors and curious onlookers, Helloooo! Come and check us out. We are a resident-owned 55 and older community. We are located in the outskirts of the quaint, picturesque and historic community of the City of Palmetto in Manatee County, Florida. Our community has a lot to offer. We invite you to come and visit us on site. Find out what we are all about. We would also like to extend an invitation to you, to participate in some of our activities. Sort of taking you for a spin, we are sure you’ll like it. Friends and neighbors "Update for the Month of October 2011"Greetings to our Friends and Neighbors.
As the scale balances the sands of time, it tilts towards the wings of travel. Yes, folks, the time is here. Some of you have already taken the plunged to the south; some of us will soon be taking flight.
Please be careful on the road as we will become those we fear, on the road...again.
As October opens its door, it begins with a celebration of epic proportion. A milestone adds to the rings of life which records the celebration of my life.
We cannot escape or ignore the roots of our beginning; so it is with great pride that I celebrate the conclusion of "Hispanic heritage month". In this spirit I'd like to make a brief mention of a Hispanic man we also celebrate this month, "Christopher Columbus" -- enough said.
We close October with another reoccurring celebration of obscure nature. As twilight time approaches, ghouls and goblins make their ethereal appearance with those eerie words that reverberate and stir the depths of our souls, "Trick or Treat", and the depths of our candy bowls.
The October 2011 Newsletter, is now available on this web site. For your weather updates, I encourage you to go to the "noaa" "National Hurricane Center" web site. They offer a variety of options to view present and past storms, pictures and videos of such storms and much, much more. Quotes of the month We know what happens to people who stay in the middle of the road: They get run over. Aneurin Bevan
